SHOW YOU ARE SOMEBODY

The moment two human beings look at each other has amazing potential. The first time he/she sees you your holograph is imprinted on his/her brain forever. Cartoonists make use of this very effectively for they not only have the unique gift to capture the physical appearances but also they capture the essence of their personalities. This is how the bodies and souls of luminaries radiate from their sketch pads, one glance and you can actually “see” their personalities.

How do they accomplish this? They are able to capture the personality which the person exudes like charm, boyishness, shiftiness, cruelty etc . First impressions are indelible. Whenever people meet you, they take an instant mental snapshot and this image is employed in dealing with you. When you meet a new acquaintance you can instantly feel how friendly , confident, crafty or reserved they are towards you. This does not require any extrasensory skill and before you can process a rational thought , you get a sixth sense about the person.

Would you like to stand out in a crowd so that people who don’t even know you will at least assume that you are an interesting person which will result in more than one person approaching you and try to make friends.

The first thing that you can improve upon is your SMILE. A big, warm smile is an asset. But only when it comes a little slower, because then it has more credibility. It will give your personality a richer, deeper and more sincere cachet. Never flash a smile immediately when you greet someone. Instead, look at the other person’s face for a second. Pause, soak in their persona and then let a big, warm, responsive smile flood over your face and overflow into your eyes. This will engulf the other person like a warm wave. The splitsecond delay convinces people that your smile is genuine and only for them.

Try this technique and see the difference, in my next post I’ll discuss on how to use your eyes.
