Recently my neighbor purchased Innova car, it is a very good car and ideal for a big family, it’s also full value for the money you invest on it.
In the past week it has been raining heavily in Bangalore, This has been covered with mud and slush, as we were talking the topic of cleaning the car came up and I suggested him to use Car Wash manufactured by Amway as I have used it and am very happy. He enquired about the cost , the cost of the Car Wash approx would workout to about Rs 3.50 per wash, he was hesitant to try it, I suggested him to purchase a sachet initially to ascertain the quality of the product, the sachet would cost him Rs 5/- only.
I was shocked by his reaction, he said “ Spending so much for a car wash is foolish, I can get my car washed by using local detergent powder which would cost only about Rs 2/- per wash. That would mean a saving of almost 100% per wash and he felt the cost of the product I was using was very costly. I was at a loss to understand this behavior, he could spend Rs 10lakhs for the car but was not willing to spend Rs 3.50/- to wash it .The thought that how much damage the detergent would cause to the surface of the car never crossed his mind.
